To fully characterize the shape of a wire, precise measurements in multiple directions are essential. Our specialized tool ensures that wire samples remain straight and taut, while a system of cranks and geared pulleys allows for controlled rotation within the “LDS” laser beam. With this accessory, the “LDS” becomes a comprehensive solution for 360° wire and cable measurement.

For high-speed line measurement, their patented “SQMF” technology captures and displays surface defects in real-time. This system can be integrated directly into production lines for continuous monitoring or used off-line with its “WIRE360” version for sample analysis. This versatile solution is ideal for detecting and visualizing defects, improving overall quality control. Now available for round products ranging from 15µm to 2,000µm.

Additionally, Cersa-MCI will be presenting the “DLN”, their all-in-one solution for the wire and cable industry. Operating at an impressive 250,000 measurements per second across three axes – totaling 750,000 accurate diameter values per second – this ultra-high-speed gauge provides precise diameter and ovality measurement, along with defect detection. Officially introduced at “wire Düsseldorf 2024”, the “DLN” sets a new benchmark in performance, surpassing industry standards.
